The RB-DA4x5 is a 1U rack-mount combined distribution amplifier and mixer, featuring four mono analogue audio inputs on female XLR connectors and four groups of five outputs on 15-way D-type connectors.
Each output group is controlled by a front-panel 5-way DIP switch, allowing selection and mixing of any input, or a 1kHz 0dBu test tone, to that group.
All inputs and outputs are electronically balanced, with each input offering adjustable gain from -8dB to +18dB via preset potentiometers. Output groups also have adjustable gain across the same range.
Each output is individually buffered, ensuring a fault on one does not affect the others.
The DIP switches and gain controls are recessed behind a screw-on front cover to prevent accidental adjustment in secure installations.
Four front-panel LEDs display signal presence for either inputs or output groups (selectable via the AUDIO PRESENCE button), indicating levels as follows: green (-12dB to 0dB), amber (0dB to +6dB), and red (+6dB and above).
