The AVN-DIO19 is an AES3 to Dante audio converter, supporting up to eight stereo AES3 inputs and eight stereo AES3 outputs for seamless integration with Dante Audio-over-IP networks.

Each input accepts sample rates from 32kHz to 192kHz and is automatically sample rate converted to match the Dante system rate. All outputs operate at the system sample rate, ensuring consistent performance across the network. Optional SRC bypass to AES inputs is also available.

Front panel LEDs provide clear status indication, including network clock, primary and secondary link activity, and PoE power presence. Additional LEDs show lock status for all eight AES3 inputs.

Audio and power are delivered via the EtherCON® connection. Primary and secondary ports provide power and data redundancy, supporting PoE for simplified installation. Front panel LEDs indicate network clock status, AoIP link activity, and PoE power presence for clear operational monitoring. The unit incorporates Audinate Dante chipsets and is compliant with AES67 and Dante Domain Manager. A built-in web interface allows access to device configuration, network settings, status monitoring, and firmware updates.

Like all Sonifex DIO interfaces, it provides a simple plug-and-play solution for connecting analogue and digital audio equipment to Dante networks, with configuration handled via Dante Controller. It is housed in a rugged aluminium enclosure with provisions for desk mounting, and an optional accessory, AVN-DIORK, allows multiple units to be installed on a 19″ rack-mount shelf.
