mDNS
- New, lightweight mDNS implementation which allows the GMC to handle more traffic. There is also a new configuration option to disable mDNS support if it is not required.
Fixed
- Fixed a bug which could cause the displayed time to be incorrect when the force time option was used.
1.5.203
6 February 2019
Fixed
- Fixed a bug which would cause the front panel not to be initialised correctly if a certain combination of buttons was held during start up.

Security Options
- A password can now be added to the devices web server within the 'Network Settings' web page, this prevents unauthorised changes to the configuration.
- The port number of the device can now be changed within the 'Network Settings' web page, this port number then needs to be provided when accessing the web server. For example if the port number is changed to 1024 the web server is then accessed using http://Device_IP_Address:1024.
- Added a reboot button to the 'System' web page, this allows the device to be rebooted remotely.
System
Fixed
- Fixed a bug which would cause occasional incorrect timestamps if 'UTC' or 'Local' time bases were used on the front panel.
- Fixed a bug which could cause parts of the units configuration to be cleared.
- Fixed a bug which meant that unicast PTP packets were not getting timestamped correctly. The GMC will still respond to unicast requests with a multicast response.
1.5.177
7 December 2018
Fixed
- Corrected a bug which could cause greater time drift than expected when GPS reception was lost.
- Corrected a bug which would cause the PPS and Wordclock outputs to occasionally fail to start.
- Corrected a bug which would cause corruption of the static network setting values in the front panel when they were updated via the webpage.
Changed
- Improved the time synchronisation mechanism so the GMC is now more accurate when connected to GPS.
- The option to track or reset when the time difference to GPS is over 1s has been removed. If GPS reception is lost for a significant period then the time will always be reset once lock is reacquired.
1.4.166
14 August 2018
Fixed
- Corrected a bug in version 1.4.161 which would cause the PTP clock accuracy value to change necessarily, meaning slaves would unlock.
1.4.161
7 August 2018
Changed
- PTP timebase changed from UTC to Atomic Time (TAI) as required by the AES67 standard.
- Time displayed on the front panel can either be TAI, UTC or local time.
1.3.152
24 April 2018
Fixed
- The front panel 'Lock LED' now functions correctly when an 'External Sync' is used.
- The front panel now shuts down fully when the unit enters standby mode.
- Issue that would cause a lock-up in rare circumstances.
Changed
- The main system loop has been made more streamlined, this significantly reduces execution time and therefore allows more PTP slaves to be supported.
1.2.132
24 November 2017
Fixed
- Bug which could cause the supply voltages to be read incorrectly.
- Bug which could cause the Ethernet status LED to not light.
