AES67 Mix Monitor
AVN-PXH12 12 x 2 Channel Mix Monitor, AoIP Portal
The AVN-PXH12 is a world first – it can simply and effectively simultaneously monitor and mix up to 24 AES67 AoIP sources in a compact 1U rack to a speaker/headphone combination in a quick and intuitive way.
Winner of the AMI 'Best of Show Award' for IBC2017
Presenter In-Ear Monitoring System Using AES67
The system consists of three parts: a Mix Engine, which forms the central core of this powerful presenter in-ear monitoring system allowing up to 32 Presenter In-Ear Monitor units to control the mix outputs of 1 of 8 virtual mixers (VMs), each mixer having 4 mono channels. Technician Remote Control units can oversee all VMs, adjusting the level of the 4 mono outputs of each VM as an aid to presenters.
AVN-MPPR Presenter In-Ear Monitor Unit
The Presenter Remote provides the mixed audio to the presenter’s earpiece via front panel ¼” & 3.5mm headphone outputs, together with a rear panel XLR output. The four rotary encoders control the 4 channels of a selected virtual mixer, and give both visual feedback for mix level of the source and actual input level. Multiple units can simultaneously control any of the 8 virtual mixers in the main mix engine with the VM number displayed on the front panel.
AVN-MPTR Technician Remote Controller
The Technician Remote allows selection of each of 8 VMs and remote adjustment of volume controls.
It has 8 virtual mixer select buttons, 4 x rotary encoders showing input level metering and output volume control and a mute button. It also has 1Gb PoE Ethernet and power using Neutrik Ethercon, status LEDs and OLED display, 10 x GPIO ports and is configured via webserver.
AVN-PX8x4C Mix Engine
The Mix Engine houses the hardware where the complex routing, mixing and DSP functions are performed. This resilient 2U rack has dual hot-swappable AC power supplies and both 1Gb Ethernet & SFP ports.
New 6 Button & 20 Button Talkback Intercoms Using AES67
AVN-TB6, 6 Button Talkback Intercom
The AVN-TB6 6 Button Talkback Intercom is a 6 station version for smaller talkback systems, or for areas with reduced communications needs.
There are two versions, a freestanding version (AVN-TB6) which can be rackmounted with separate rack plates (AVN-TB6RK), and a desktop version (AVN-6D).
AVN-TB20AR/D 20 Button Talkback Intercom, Rackmount/Desktop
There are 2 versions of the 20 station intercom, rackmount and desktop, and they share the same feature set:
- 20 illuminated key-cap Talk buttons plus Listen & Page buttons.
- Phone button for remote dialling and control of an external telephone hybrid.
- Page button and Group Talk facilities.
- Callback button with callback source display.
- Three user definable buttons.
- Speaker & microphone mute buttons.
- Mic & headset inputs (front & rear panel headset connection), headphone & speaker outputs.

Multi-Channel Audio Interfaces Using AES67, AVN Portals
These are a range of 3 audio interface portals which mix and route analogue, AES3, microphone & AES67 stream inputs to analogue, AES3 & AES67 outputs:
AVN-PA8/T/D 8 Stereo Analogue Line Inputs & Outputs, AES67 Portal
AVN-PD8/T/D 8 Stereo Digital Line Inputs & Outputs, AES67 Portal
AVN-PM8/T/D 8 Mic/Line Inputs, 8 Stereo Line Outputs, AES67 Portal
Each of the portals can be supplied in different versions: As standard they have a front panel display to show product information and for editing basic IP functionality and they use XLRs and D-types for rear panel connectivity. There are 2 other options available:
The 'D' version portals have front panel input and output metering on 2 bright TFT displays. Metering can show as one of 9 different metering scales and there is a summary view of all input channels with a detailed view of any selected stereo pair. Phase metering is also displayed per stereo channel.
The 'T' version portals use rear panel terminal block connectors for all physical inputs and outputs.
The portals are able to mix any of their physical inputs and 16 x AES67 AoIP stream inputs to any physical outputs and 16 x AES67 AoIP outputs, providing a very powerful mix matrix for numerous broadcast and AV applications. All units have input and output level trim, gain adjustment at cross-points and output limiters, 10 user assignable GPIO ports, dual AC & DC power supply inputs, dual 1Gb Ethernet & 1Gb SFP ports and configuration via a responsive web-server interface.
Headphone Amps for AVN Portals
Connect these to the output of the portals to provide a simple headphone amplifier with volume control and button tally. Up to 8 can be connected to each AVN portal.
AVN-HA1 Analogue Headphone Amp for AVN-PA8/D & AVN-PM8/D Portals
AVN-HD1 Digital Headphone Amp for AVN-PD8/D Portal
The passive packs are a range of small utility products which use transformers to change audio input & output impedances and levels and to distribute audio signals.
