Sonifex is the Latest Dante™ Licensee, at ISE 2018

Sonifex is an established manufacturer of audio equipment, mainly for the broadcast market. In recent years, they’ve focussed on AoIP network audio products for the broadcast and AV market and are showing their most recently developed gear on stand 10-K165. Today they’ve announced that they’re the latest company to license Audinate’s Dante™ technology.
Marcus Brooke, Managing Director of Sonifex Ltd, commented: “The addition of Dante to our AVN AES67 product range gives us compatibility with the majority of AoIP audio products on the market. We’re initially adding Dante compatibility to our new ‘Portal’ range of multi-channel audio mix-matrices, where physical audio inputs will be freely mixed and routed with AES67/Dante streams in a simple and intuitive way to both physical outputs and AES67/Dante streams, whilst also adding DSP functions (e.g. gain) at inputs, outputs and cross-points. Other Dante based products will naturally follow on quickly after this.”
