Andy Sawford MP Visits Sonifex

Sonifex Ltd is based in Irthlingborough and the local Member of Parliament for Corby and East Northants, Andy Sawford, visited to discuss local and company issues with Marcus Brooke, Managing Director and Chris Stills, Technical Director. Andy spent some time discussing the current export climate and local employment issues before having a tour of the factory.
Marcus Brooke said: “Andy was very interested in what we had to say and how our business is run. When people visit Sonifex, it’s fair to say that often they are surprised at the high quality level of manufacturing that we carry out in such a small company. We try and keep as much of the manufacturing in house as we can, to retain our high manufacturing standards.”
Andy Sawford commented: “It was great to see this family business at first hand and talk about its past success and future plans. I could see that Sonifex clearly has a highly skilled and motivated team. Not only are they dedicated to creating high quality products, they are also flexible and innovative. It is excellent to have a cutting-edge business like this in my constituency that is so committed to exporting.”
