Quantum 2 ST Product Overview

The Quantum2 ST is an advanced 1U rack-mount IP audio codec, purpose-built to provide reliable, high-quality audio links between broadcasting studios and mobile units.

Designed for stability and performance, the Quantum2 ST delivers consistent IP-based audio streaming with support for one or two stereo audio programmes. It accommodates analogue and digital (AES/EBU) inputs and outputs, along with a wide range of industry-standard compression formats, including OPUS, AAC, and G.722. For distribution, it supports point-to-multipoint transmission (multi-unicast up to 1:10) or unlimited scalability via multicast.

To further streamline workflows, optional Dante or Ravenna/AES67 connectivity enables uncompressed digital audio transmission over a single Ethernet cable, effectively replacing multiple physical audio connections. The unit offers flexible control options, including a built-in web-based graphical interface, front panel display, and the ProdysControlPlus application. In addition, the WEBMONITOR feature allows users to listen to audio remotely via ProdysControlPlus or any standard web browser, ensuring full remote management and simplifying operational oversight.
